We reach out to you today on behalf of a courageous woman, Gwendolyn McKnight—lovingly known as Mama Gwen—who is enduring unimaginable grief. She recently lost her husband, Horace McKnight, and is now facing the overwhelming burden of covering his funeral expenses.

Mama Gwen’s heartache doesn’t stop there. In 2022, she experienced a horrifying family tragedy when her own nephew brutally murdered her daughter and four grandchildren in Cocoa Piece, Jamaica. This devastating loss has left her shattered, and the pain of betrayal by a family member has deepened her suffering.

Now, to add to her anguish, Mama Gwen has received news that her nephew is seeking an appeal for his sentence. This renewed legal battle is reopening old wounds, amplifying her emotional trauma, and leaving her in desperate need of counselling and support.
